Vom früheren Bibliotheksgebäude am Vogelpothsweg ist nun gar nichts mehr zu sehen. Zurzeit wird der unterirdische Rückbau weitergeführt und anschließend die Baugrube für den Neubau an gleicher Stelle eingerichtet.

Lernen können Sie natürlich trotzdem: z. B. in der Emil-Figge-Bibliothek, 287 Lernplätze (im Bild ganz links – EF 50, 1. Etage), in der Sebrath-Bibliothek mit 240 klimatisierten Plätzen oder im Co-Learning-Space bis 1 Uhr nachts (250 Plätze). Auch in der Dortmunder Innenstadt gibt es einen Lernort der TU Dortmund. Viele kleinere Lernorte sind über den ganzen Campus verteilt. Alle Lernplätze sind in unserer Lernortkarte verzeichnet.

There is now nothing left to see of the former library building on Vogelpothsweg. The underground demolition work is currently continuing and the excavation pit for the new building will then be set up on the same site.

Of course, you can still study – in the Emil-Figge-Bibliothek with 287 seats (pictured far left, 1st floor of Emil-Figge-Str. 50), in the Sebrath-Bibliothek with 240 air-conditioned seats or until 1 a.m. in the Co-Learning-Space (250 seats). There is also a TU Dortmund University learning location in Dortmund city center. There are also many smaller learning spaces spread across the campus.
