Abholstelle für alle bestellten Medien und Beratung

Die Bereichsbibliothek in der 1. Etage der Emil-Figge-Str. 50 wird ab dem 7.8.2023 zum zentralen Servicestandort der Bibliothek auf dem Campus. Die Öffnungszeiten werden denen des Gebäudes Emil-Figge-Str. 50 angepasst und zum Teil erweitert: Montag bis Freitag 8-22 Uhr, Samstag 9-22 Uhr. Ausleihe, Rückgabe und Gebührenzahlung sind während der gesamten Öffnungszeiten in Selbstbedienung möglich.

Montags bis freitags berät und unterstützt das Bibliothekspersonal zwischen 8 und 18 Uhr, samstags von 11 bis 16 Uhr. Die schon jetzt vorhandenen geistes- und sozialwissenschaftlichen Bücher werden um die Lehrbuchsammlung aller Fächer ergänzt. Außerdem werden hier die aktuellen Zeitschriftenhefte und Zeitungen stehen, sowie 19.000 Bücher aus den Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften aus der Zentralbibliothek. Wie bisher stehen ca. 300 Lernplätze zur Verfügung.

Besonderer Fokus der Emil-Figge-Bibliothek neben der Beratung ist die Bereitstellung von bestellten Medien aller Art:

• Bestellungen aus dem Speichermagazin (Lieferung in der Regel am nächsten Werktag)
• Fernleihbestellungen
• Abholung vorgemerkter (reservierter) Bücher
• Bestellungen aus der Sebrath-Bibliothek

Central Services during Construction: Collection Point for all ordered Media and Advice

The Departmental Library on the 1st floor of Emil-Figge-Str. 50 will become the Central Library on campus from August 7, 2023. The opening hours will be adapted to those of the building Emil-Figge-Str. 50 and partly extended: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. Self-service lending and return and payment of fees will be possible during the entire opening hours.

From Mondays to Fridays, the library staff provides advice and assistance between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The textbook collection of all subjects will be added to the books already available in the humanities and social sciences. In addition, the current journal issues and newspapers will be located here, as well as 19,000 books from the humanities and social sciences from the Central Library. As before, approximately 300 study spaces will be available.

A special focus of the Emil-Figge-Bibliothek, in addition to consulting services, is the provision of ordered media of all kinds:

• orders from the storage magazine (delivery usually on the next working day)
• interlibrary loan orders
• collection of reserved books
• orders from the Sebrath-Bibliothek
